Frequently asked questions.

Do you take insurance?

At this time I do not take insurance. I lack the time required to negotiate and dispute with health insurance agencies over client treatment and services. On request, I will create a superbill so you may use your out of network benefits so you can be compensated directly by your insurer. Full payment is due at time of service delivery: Cash, Check, or Credit/Debit. There are limited sliding scale options available on request for telehealth based therapy.

Do you plan to offer in-person sessions at an office?

I do not have the ability to offer in-person sessions at this time. I work with a very limited amount of clients due to availability and unable to afford clinic space. I have fairly priced therapeutic services to reflect this. I do offer a very limited home-based service, please contact me for further information.

What are your hours?

I meet with clients between the evening hours of 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday. As it is rare for psychotherapists to offer these times, my openings tend to fill quickly.

Are you taking new clients?

Due to fluctuations in my caseload, it is hard to keep this answer updated. I recommend you message or call me and if there is a spot open I will let you know!

What’s your policy on cancellations?

I understand that life happens and emergencies arise. The first no-show or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will be waived. After that a 24 hour notice for weekdays and 48 hour notice for weekends will be required or a charge of the missed appointment will be incurred. The therapeutic relationship is built on respect and compassion, and without commitment to therapeutic appointments no work can truly begin.

What’s your favorite movie?

Terminator 2: Judgement day.
